If you don't configure the Allow web search in Copilot plan, internet search is offered to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Permit the usage of additional optional connected experiences in Office policy to Handicapped.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Outlook for many individuals that are eligible for co Pilot or copilot Conversation throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also transform the pinning setups of Copilot Chat for individuals in Microsoft Teams via the Groups admin center: Appoint an application arrangement policy with Copilot Chat in the pinned applications to customers with an Entra account.

The Allow internet search in Copilot plan also permits you to take care of web search for individuals with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
