If you don't set up the Enable internet search in Copilot policy, internet search is available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Permit the use of added optional connected experiences in Office policy to Impaired.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 copilot portal app application, Groups, and Overview for many individuals who are eligible for Copilot Conversation across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly selected 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin center and likewise unattended the 'Enable individuals to be asked whether they wish to pin it' alternative, your setup setup is 'Do not pin' and your individuals still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.

To help enhance the high quality of responses, Copilot Conversation can utilize internet search inquiries sent out to the Bing search solution to ground responses in the most up to date info from the web.
