If you don't configure the Allow internet search in Copilot plan, web search is readily available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 copilot app login and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Allow the use of additional optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Groups, and Outlook for most users that are eligible for Copilot Chat across the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also transform the pinning setups of Copilot Conversation for customers in Microsoft Teams through the Teams admin center: Designate an application setup plan with Copilot Conversation in the pinned applications to individuals with an Entra account.

To help boost the high quality of actions, Copilot Conversation can utilize web search inquiries sent out to the Bing search service to ground actions in the latest details from the web.
