If you don't set up the Enable web search in Copilot plan, web search is offered to users by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Permit the use of extra optional connected experiences in Workplace plan to Handicapped.

Copilot Conversation is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Teams, and Expectation for a lot of users who are qualified for Copilot Chat throughout the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also change the pinning setups of Portal Copilot 365 Conversation for customers in Microsoft Teams via the Groups admin center: Designate an application configuration policy with Copilot Chat in the pinned applications to individuals with an Entra account.

The Enable web search in Copilot policy also permits you to manage web look for users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot permit.
