If you don't configure the Enable web search in Copilot policy, web search is available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Allow the use of extra optional connected experiences in Workplace plan to Disabled.

Copilot Conversation is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Groups, and Expectation for most customers that are eligible for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop.

If you formerly selected 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigating bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin center and additionally uncontrolled the 'Permit individuals to be asked whether they wish to pin it' alternative, your setup arrangement is 'Do not pin' and your customers still won't have Copilot pinned in their navigating bar.

The Allow internet search in Copilot plan also allows you to handle internet search for individuals with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. To make certain people across your organization have very easy access to Co pilot or copilot Conversation and can take advantage of its safety and experience updates, we suggest that your customers have Microsoft 365 Copilot Conversation pinned to their navigation bar.
