If you don't configure the Allow internet search in Copilot plan, web search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Allow the use of added optional connected experiences in Office plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Overview for most users who are qualified for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also alter the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for customers in Microsoft Teams with the Teams admin center: Assign an app configuration plan with Copilot Chat in the pinned applications to individuals with an Entra account.

The Allow internet search in Copilot plan also enables you to manage web look for users with a Microsoft 365 portal copilot 365 permit. To make sure individuals throughout your organization have easy access to Copilot Conversation and can gain from its safety and experience updates, we suggest that your individuals have Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat pinned to their navigation bar.
