If you don't configure the Permit internet search in Copilot plan, web search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Permit the usage of extra optional connected experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Overview for most users who are eligible for Copilot Chat throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly selected 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and also untreated the 'Permit users to be asked whether they wish to pin it' choice, your setting configuration is 'Do not pin' and your customers still will not have copilot client portal pricing pinned in their navigating bar.

The Enable internet search in Copilot plan also enables you to manage internet search for individuals with a Microsoft 365 Copilot permit. To ensure people throughout your organization have simple access to Copilot Conversation and can benefit from its safety and security and experience updates, we recommend that your customers have Microsoft 365 Copilot Conversation pinned to their navigation bar.
