If you do not configure the Permit web search in Copilot plan, web search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Allow the use of extra optional linked experiences in Office policy to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Overview for many users who are eligible for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also change the pinning setups of Copilot Chat for customers in Microsoft Teams via the Groups admin facility: Designate an app arrangement plan with portal copilot 365 Chat in the pinned apps to individuals with an Entra account.

To help enhance the top quality of reactions, Copilot Conversation can utilize web search questions sent to the Bing search service to ground responses in the most up to date details from the web. Copilot includes a CRM, notification center, effective authorization controls, and necessary apps for messaging, billing, file-sharing, agreements, and types.
