If you do not configure the Permit internet search in Copilot plan, web search is readily available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you set the Permit the usage of additional optional linked experiences in Workplace policy to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Overview for most users that are eligible for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly chose 'Do not pin copilot portal Alternative to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and likewise uncontrolled the 'Enable individuals to be asked whether they want to pin it' alternative, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your users still will not have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.

To help enhance the high quality of feedbacks, Copilot Conversation can use internet search questions sent out to the Bing search solution to ground actions in the latest information from the internet. Copilot includes a CRM, notification facility, effective consent controls, and necessary apps for messaging, invoicing, file-sharing, contracts, and types.
