If you don't set up the Enable internet search in Copilot Apple Login plan, internet search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Conversation, unless you establish the Permit the use of added optional linked experiences in Office policy to Disabled.

Copilot Conversation is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, Teams, and Expectation for the majority of users that are eligible for Copilot Chat across the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

If you formerly chose 'Do not pin Copilot to the navigation bar' in the Microsoft 365 admin facility and also unchecked the 'Allow users to be asked whether they wish to pin it' choice, your setting setup is 'Do not pin' and your customers still will not have Copilot pinned in their navigation bar.
