If you do not set up the Permit internet search in Copilot policy, web search is readily available to individuals by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you establish the Enable the usage of additional optional linked experiences in Office plan to Disabled.

Copilot Chat is now pinned by default in the navigation bar of the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, Groups, and Outlook for many customers who are eligible for Copilot Chat throughout the internet, mobile, and desktop.

Admins can also transform the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for individuals in Microsoft Teams through the Teams admin facility: Appoint an app arrangement plan with Copilot Conversation in the pinned applications to customers with an Entra account.
