If you do not set up the Enable internet search in Copilot policy, web search is available to customers by default in both Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, unless you set the Enable the use of additional optional connected experiences in Office policy to Handicapped.

Copilot Chat is currently pinned by default in the navigating bar of the Microsoft 365 copilot portal pricing app, Groups, and Outlook for the majority of customers who are eligible for Copilot Chat throughout the web, mobile, and desktop computer.

Admins can also transform the pinning settings of Copilot Chat for users in Microsoft Teams through the Groups admin facility: Appoint an application configuration policy with Copilot Chat in the pinned apps to customers with an Entra account.

To help enhance the top quality of feedbacks, Copilot Conversation can use internet search queries sent to the Bing search service to ground responses in the most up to date information from the internet. Copilot comes with a CRM, notification facility, effective consent controls, and essential apps for messaging, billing, file-sharing, agreements, and kinds.
