Bethany Joy Lenz has revealed she is in a 'wonderful' new relationship after a failed marriage to a 'cult' leader's son in the early 2000s.

The One Tree Hill star, 43, who previously said she had a 'sex schedule' with the unnamed man, credited her mystery new love interest with allowing her to complete memoir Dinner for Vampires: Life on a Cult TV Show (While Also in an Actual Cult!).

Lenz, who shares daughter Maria, 13, with ex Michael Galleotti who she was wed to from 2005-2012, told Variety: 'I've been seeing a wonderful man, and he was incredibly helpful, very supportive, and helped with things like after-school pickup, so I could keep writing until 5.

'I tried to put myself on a schedule so that I knew what days I was picking her up from school and helping her with her homework or taking her to different activities, so I could make sure it still felt like I was a part of the daily routine.

'Then there were other days where I was like, peace out, I'm writing from 7:30 until 6. So I did have help. And she, thank God, is at an age where Mom is not cool, and the last thing she wants to do is hang out with me.'

One Tree Hill star Bethany Joy Lenz's 'cult' claims fiercely denied by ex-husband's family

She alleges that she experienced 'manipulation, abuse and fear' at the hands of what she thought was a church covenant.

In the official description of her book, she said she was under the control of the 'domineering minister' of The Big House Family for a decade before she finally left.

She has claimed the minister convinced her to marry his son and stole millions of dollars from her television income from One Tree Hill, viral video pejabat ngewe anak kecil which ran from 2003 to 2012.

Lenz opened up about being married to a man, whom she referred to as QB.

On Wednesday's episode of Call Her Daddy, Lenz explained that she felt like she 'married the wrong person' during that time when she got involved with a 'cult' for 10 years in the early 2000s.

And due to the intimacy issues in their marriage, she and QB were 'asked' to develop a 'sex schedule.'

The star said her relationship with QB was 'playful and easy' at first.

Lenz's memoir Dinner For Vampires, in which she alleges she experienced 'manipulation, abuse and fear' at the hands of what she thought was a church covenant - was released Tuesday

However, over time, she realized that they 'didn't have a lot in common.'

In the end, she said her marriage with QB turned into 'this sort of arranged situation.'

Despite having a 'crazy sex drive,' she recalled saving herself for marriage after she was 'promised' that it would be better; however, she said it was 'a big crock.'

'I thought if I save myself for marriage, then the promise is amazing sex and super deep intimacy, and nothing's ever as good and it's just, like, the best thing ever,' she said.

'Then we have sex, and it's like, 'Why do I feel so sad? I don't feel more connected to you. I feel farther away from you.''

Lenz recalled: 'Because I was so disinterested in sex, I was then asked to go on a schedule.

'Basically [they were] like, 'You just have to do it. Just do it. This is your duty. This is your job as a wife. Your emotions will fall in line. If you do it enough, then eventually, you will find a way to enjoy it.''

She said she tried her best to 'make it work' even though she 'hated it' because there was 'so much at stake.'

'It was a routine that I had to participate in in order to keep the peace in my marriage,' she added.

She said that while she was filming One Tree Hill in Wilmington, her now-ex would constantly travel to the Pacific Northwest and would expect sex whenever he came back.

'My stomach dropped every single time,' she admitted. 'In fact, it really affected my relationships afterwards [with] other boyfriends when I had to go pick them up from the airport.'

Lenz added: 'I had so much PTSD from showing up at the airport to see him knowing that I was gonna have to start this sex schedule for the next, like two weeks or three weeks or whatever.'

And even though their marriage eventually ended, she said she still empathizes with her ex.

The poor guy never had a shot,' she said. 'He was raised by this narcissist. He was thrust into a marriage that's not right for him. He's doing the best that he can, and he has been fed all these lies about men and machismo, like, he was raised in that.'

On Tuesday DailyMail.com revealed that she's referring to Wild Branch Ministries, a tiny covenant church whose devotees lived 'commune-style' in a million-dollar mansion in Battle Ground, Washington known as The Big House.

Its founder - a 'domineering' minister Lenz has described as a sociopath akin to Keith Raniere of the NXIVM sex cult - is 'Papa' Mike Galeotti, her former father-in-law.

Approached for his side of the story, Galeotti, 62, described her accusations as 'heartbreaking.'

'Everybody sees things a little differently and she's going to cling to the fame,' he told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.

'Good for her. She's going to make a name for herself. But it's not the way it went down.'

Bethany Joy Lenz's ex-father-in-law Michael Galeotti broke his silence on her claims that she got roped into a 'cult' for 10 years after marrying his son

Galeotti's son, Michael Jr. aid he preferred not to dredge up his years-long divorce.

'I don't know what to make of this memoir after all this time,' he said.

'I have a daughter who's really important to me. I don't want it to affect her. It's too much. I don't really want to cause any problems for her.'

Dinner for Vampires: Life on a Cult TV Show (While Also in an Actual Cult!), will hit the shelves on October 22.
